Sometimes WWW pages start as a small and integrated page, and then grow too large, and become unmanagable, and difficult to use. A good example of this was my Design Tips page. I've redesigned it with:

Isn't the new one much better? One the main design factors was to make the page scalable, from a 640 pixel width up to more than 1024 pixels width. You can see from the following that the page scales well:
